Alejandro Sánchez Pizarro1 (Madrid, December 18, 1968), better known by his stage name Alejandro Sanz, is a Spanish singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer and musician. He has sold more than 25 million copies of his albums worldwide and has won 20 Latin Grammys and 3 American Grammys. He has also collaborated with several national and international artists, making him one of the most important artists in Spanish history. Starting his impressive career in 1991 with the album "Treading Strong", Alejandro Sanz has experienced, sought and accommodated different styles. In "Si tu me miras" and "3", Sanz showed his compositional maturity but it was not until 1997 with the publication of "Más" that included singles like "And if it were her?", "Corazón partiío" or "Amiga mía "In which Alejandro Sanz became a music legend in Spanish, being this record the best selling in Spanish history and one of the indispensable in Spanish language. Being a consolidated figure, he took a definite step towards the American market, "El alma al aire" (The soul in the air), a glimpse of that change of flamenco, Latin and rocker sounds confirmed in "It's not the same" and "The Train of Moments". Paraíso Express was released in 2009, which included the successful duet with the North American artist Alicia Keys called "Looking for Paradise". In 2011, Alejandro was twenty years old in music, in which he made a tribute to his next album, published in 2012 called "La música no seca", a classic pop record in which it would be the first record with the Universal label Music. In 2015, he releases his latest album called "Sirope" a mix of pop, rock and funk demonstrating versatility in letters and styles.
