The adult human body has two hundred and six bones
The adult skeleton consist of the following bones:
Twenty eight skull bones(eight cranial, fourteenfacial,and six ear bones).
The hyoid bone in the neck is the only bone that does not articulate to
another bone.
Twenty six vertebrae(seven cervical, twelve thoracic, five lumbar,
the sacrum, which is one single bone.
made of five fused vertebrae, and the coccyx, which is one bone made
of four fused vertebrae).
Twenty four ribs plus the sternum, two clavicles, the most frequently
fractured bone in the body and two scapulae.
Two pelvic bones.
Thirty bones in each of the arms and legs (a total of one hundred and twenty )


YOUR RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
The respiratory system makes braething
Your body needs oxigen to survive. You get oxygent from the air
around you .
Your lungs are the most important organs of the respiratory
system. They are situated in the chest cavity. They sit on the
diaphragm.
When we breathe, air is taken in through the mouth and
nose and travels down the throat into the windpipe.
Air is taken into the lungs through two large tubes called
bronchi. One bronchus is connected to the left lung and one
is connected to the right lung.
The left lung is smaller to make room for the heart.
When oxygen –rich air reaches your lungs, oxygen is
absorbed into the blood through tiny blood vessels. Then,
the oxygen is taken to different parts of your body along the
circulatory system.
Carbone dioxide, which we do not need, is expelled, It exits
your body in the air you exhale through your nose and
mouth.
