I hadn't been seeing much my girlfriend recently so I decided to spend a weekend with her. I know she enjoys going trekking in the mountains and she doesn't mind walking for hours. I didn't want to walk myself but I wanted to make her happy, so I decided to book a room in a hotel near a national park, I hoped to give her a surprise.
The first thing I did when I stopped to work for lunch that morning was to explain my plans to her for our weekend together. She said it was great because she badly needed to have a romantic weekend. I promised to arrange everything and I planned to change my trekking ideas for something more romantic. Instead of a hotel room I rented a cabin in the forest and when we finished working on Friday afternoon we drove to the cabin and spent the whole weekend there. We really enjoyed being together, and I learned how to cook!
