Respuesta:On December 17, 1903 Wilbur and Orville Wright got one of the greatest feats in the history of mankind: fly on the plane they had built themselves. In just eleven months, the two brothers managed to do what the best and most intelligent scientists of their time could only imagine. To give us an idea of what his feat meant, it would be enough to imagine Neil Armstrong landing on the moon in an artifact built with his own hands and financed with the salary of his part-time job.
The almost unknown children of an itinerant preacher and local bicycle manufacturers became famous in less than a decade: they were decorated by kings and requested by presidents. His story is as incredible as it is inspiring and disconcerting.
Most of the books written to date to explain the secret of the success of the Wright brothers pointed to a combination of hard work, learning ability, respect for others and intellectual curiosity. There is no doubt that all these factors converged in the creation of the invention but, until now, no one had mentioned a key component of its inventive process: the application of a series of very clear principles and guidelines. These principles, which played such an important role in turning the dreams of the Wright brothers into reality, today demonstrate their relevance in today's business.
Whatever their circumstances, business leaders and professionals from all fields can benefit from their daily work of principles such as these: conceive ideas through a constructive conflict; first solve the most difficult part of a problem; constantly experiment with improvements; address a problem logically and at the same time have illogical options; preserve a constant passion for knowledge; give meticulous attention to detail and achieve much more as a team than as an individual.
