Respuesta:

¿Cuál es la diferencia entre second conditional y thirt conditional?

El segundo condicional :

The second conditional can speak of the same situations, but we see them less likely to occur, therefore the second part of the sentence is also unlikely.

Example:If + past simple, it would be + infinitive. If you did the dishes, I'd clean the room.

(I don't really expect you to do the dishes.)

If you asked me, I would help you.

(Unlikely to ask me.)

Tercer condicional:

The third conditional can also be called an impossible conditional.

"So we have: first conditional

(possible and probable things), second conditional

(improbable, unreal and hypothetical things)

and third conditional (impossible things).

Example:If he had got up on time, we wouldn't have missed the plane.

(But she didn't get up on time, and we missed the plane.

If she had given me the money, she would have paid the phone bill.

(Actually, she didn't give me the money and I didn't pay the bill.)
