Mar de La Plata is a city located at the southeast of Argentina, specifically in the province of Buenos Aires, over argentinian sea coast. Is an important dock and watering place, alongside with being the second most important tourist city after Buenos Aires.
This city has a lot of economic sources, all of them related to fishing, fabric industry, cereals and oil, altough there are more productive work fields such as farming, construction and vehicle mechanics.
This city is one of the most traditional football capitals, being one of the city host for World Cup Argentina 1978, and also being home of one of the most popular team on Argentina: Club Atlético Peñarol.
