para ocupar "was" y/o "were" tenemos que saber lo siguiente:

ocupamos was para: i, he, she, it.

ocupamos were para: we, you, they

(solo completa, realmente es fácil)

Explicación:

ejemplo parte uno : 1. picasso was a spanish painter

ejemplo parte dos  : 1. you were my best friend
