Es sistema de ecuaciones, yo lo hago por el método de igualación.
x + y = 33.....1)
2x + 5y = 120....2)

1. Se despeja.
  
1) x = 33 - y
2) x = (120 - 5y)/2

2. Se iguala 

33 - y = (120 - 5y)/2
2 (33 - y ) = 120 - 5y
66 - 2y = 120 - 5y
-2y +5y = 120 - 66
3y= 54
y = 54/3
y = 18

3. Se sustituye 

x+y=33
x+18 = 33
x=33-18
x=15

4. Comprobación.

15 + 18 = 33

Entonces x=15, y=18
