The Internet is one of the great inventions of the twentieth century, as it allows such an infinite number of possibilities and benefits for society that it has become a practically inseparable issue in our daily lives. The way people are informed, communicated and related has even changed, both in the case of the Network itself and of the applications and new technologies associated with it, and that facilitate its access: smartphones, tablets, social networks, WhatsApp, etc. chats, etc.
If there is a sector of the population where the arrival of the Internet and ICTs has had the most influence, that is the group of children and young adolescents. But the Internet and new technologies are a double-edged sword, and if on the one hand they offer enormous advantages for issues such as improving their education and development, promoting creative learning, or providing new forms of entertainment; on the other hand, it carries significant risks as a consequence of misuse, such as access to inappropriate content for minors (violent, sexual, illegal, etc.); the loss of privacy, or the provision of information or personal data of the whole family.

How I use the internet
Internet has become one of the most important tools in our lives. In my case, I use the internet to investigate and be able to solve my homework. Since we are in a pandemic time, we have classes through the internet and use it to hand in our homework, to check our grades. I also use sites like YouTube to watch videos about many topics. But my favourite website is Brainly.lat since there I will always find help to solve my homework, they are always helping students and I learn a lot in there.
