My text is going to be about facebook (fb), a social network that I use, and that a lot of people use around the world.
I connected on fb to start knowing more people, but that is only a motivation from the past. Currently, my main motivation to stay connected is to communicate with my friends and family, and I think it is safe so say it is going to be my motivation to carry on using it. 
Obviously, while traveling, without proper access to internet, staying online might be hard. On the other hand, it is a great joy when I speak to someone I hadn't spoken in a while.
