Personally, I would recommend reading the Harry Potter series of novels, because they teach us very important values through the characters, none of them are perfect and all of them want to improve. I would also recommend it because the plot is interesting, it focuses on the struggle between Harry Potter and the evil wizard Lord Voldemort, who murdered Harry's parents in order to fulfill his desire to conquer the magical world.
