Respuesta:

1) Mutation is important as the first step of evolution because it creates a new DNA sequence for a particular gene, creating a new allele.

2) Mutation in genetic programming, contribute to the rigorous understanding of genetic programming algorithms by providing runtime complexity analyses for the well-known Max problem.

3) Because of Mutation some cancers can be cured by chemotherapy or radiotherapy, presumably because they are derived from those cell types that not only can die easily but also have already been equipped with mobility and adaptability, which would later allow the cancers to metastasize.
