Each fund has typical characteristics such as a composition of the common soil, topography, sea salinity and upper water that surrounds it, marine life, magnetic direction of the rock and sedimentation.
The topography of the marine bottom is flat where the sedimentation is strong and covers the tectonic features. This sedimentation comes from several sources:
*Erosion sediments, brought mainly by rivers.
*New "young rocks", new magma composed of basalt, of the average oceanic crest
*Discharge of underwater volcanic ash, especially hydrothermal vents
*Activity of microorganisms
*The sea itself eroding the ocean floor
*Marine life: corals, fish, algae, fungi, crabs, marine plants and other sediments of biological origin.

I hope this will help you :)
Greetings! xx.
