When giving an order, instructions, directions or recommendations, we can use imperative sentences. The structure is: • Verb in the base form + complement (if necessary). i.e. Take a shower every day. • The negative imperative sentence uses don't + base form + complement (if necessary). ie. Don't drink too much coffee or soda! 3. Imagine that you are a doctor and your friend is your patient who it is not healthy now. Use some imperative sentences to give you instructions to improve your health. ​
