When Cinderella gets to the dance everybody looks at her because she is very beautiful. The prince stops stalking to her stepsister and goes to dance with her. He asks her “Who are you? What is your name?” but she answers They dance for hours when suddenly Cinderella hears the clock and remembers the fairy Godmother’s words. She runs out of the dance, ignoring the prince’s surprise. Fortunately, Cinderella leaves a shoe while she runs and the prince finds it and takes it.

Explicación:

Cuando el sujeto es una tercera persona del singular (he, she, it) el verbo debe terminar el "s". En caso de no ser así, los verbos se colocan en su forma base.

Respuesta: Lo completé con pasado simple y pasado continuo:

The prince 4. stopped (stop) talking to her stepsister and 5. went (go) to dance with her. He asks her “Who are you? What is your name?” but she 6. answered (answer). They 7. are dancing (dance) for hours when suddenly Cinderella 8. heard (hear) the clock and 9. remembered (remember) the fairy Godmother’s words. She 10. ran (run) out of the dance, ignoring the prince’s surprise. Fortunately, Cinderella 11. left (leave) a shoe while she 12. was running (run) and the prince finds it and takes it.

Explicación:

En la parte de (answer) por el contexto parece que es una respuesta negativa: didn´t answer. Pero como en el ejecicio no está como (not answer) habrá que dejarlo así como lo tenemos arriba: answered.
