When a perfume bottle is broken, after a while the smell of perfume is perceived anywhere in the room .What properties of gaseous state can determine this fact? Please I need urgent graciasss

The smell, are particles of a given substance entering through the nose are captured, processed and interpreted.
When dejás an open scent it starts slowly evaporate, soft perfume particles remain in the air and you perceive them. If the perfume has alcohol evaporates faster then feel the smell faster.
