Respuesta:

Atmospheric circulation is a large-scale movement of air and, together with ocean currents (1), the means by which heat is distributed over the Earth's surface. However, it must be taken into account that although the role of ocean currents seems smaller according to their volume compared to that of atmospheric circulation, their importance in terms of heat flux between the different geoastronomical zones is very large and much higher than that recorded by the atmosphere, due to the notable difference in density between air and oceanic waters that causes the specific heat transported by a m³ of oceanic water to be much higher than that which can be displaced by a m³ of air.
