aca se reemplazo el pronombre they, es decir, ellos por dos pronombres peter y kate y they tiene are, por lo tanto, ahi va are.

otro ejemplo seria cambiando we ´por dos sujetos, felcia y yo en este caso hay se entenderia como nosotros o we por que me incluyo en la oracion
