UNIT 1
Glen: Jeimy, are you ready for tafe-off?
Pilot Jeimy: Almost Glen but I'm concerned about one of the wheels.
Glen: Really? what's the problem?
Pilot Jeimy: It looks a little crooked, I think we damaged it when we landed
yesterday…
Glenn: Oh, I remember, that was pretty rocky.
Pilot Jeimy: I don't think I was strong enough to handle that.
Glenn: We'd better take a look at it before we get started!
Pilot Jeimy: I Think that's a good idea, we don't want to have an accident on the
runway.
UNIT 2
Teacher: Okey Henry, tell me what parts are important for steering an aircraft?
Henry: Well, you use the elevators to move up and down.
Teacher: Good, what else?
Henry: Emmm let's see, the rudder allows the aircraft to roll from side to side.
Teacher: You're close but that's not quite right, try again.
Henry: Ohh of course, it's the aileron on the controls rolling movements.
Teacher: That`s right and what does the rudder do?
Henry: The rudder helps the pilot turn the aircraft smoothly.
Teacher: You got it!
UNIT 3
Instructor: Does anyone have questions about cockpit controls?
Student: Yes Sr, you said the sidestick the controls pitch, doesn’t the yoke do that.
Instructor: Yes, but some aircraft models use a sidestick instead a traditional yoke.
Student: What’s the difference?
Instructor: A sidestick makes more efficient uses of space, it used in lighter aircraft.
Student: Oh, I see, so, sidestick is better for small cockpits.
Instructor: Right, on the other hand a yoke allows two handed control this makes it
better for steering large-heavier aircraft.
UNIT 4
Teacher: let Start the exam , where’s the attitude indicator on this plane?
Student: Is in the center on the top grow in the instrument panel.
Teacher: well done!, Now can you identify the instrument next to?
Student: to the left is the airspeed indicator to believe.
Teacher: excellent, and what they do?
Student: tells the pilot how fast the plane moving.
Teacher: correct, and what’s below the?
Student: below that’s is the altimeter he “…” the airplane altitude.

UNIT 9
Linda: mr Henry I have a few questions about airspeed
Mr Henry: Of course Linda, what do you want to know?
Linda: The indicated AirSpeed and calibrated AirSpeed confuse me a little.
Mr Henry: Do you know which one is more accurate?
Linda: Calibrated AirSpeed because of corrected for errors.
Mr Henry: Exactly, so, what are you confused about?
Linda: I don't get what kinds of Errors can happen in indicated AirSpeed.
Henry: Indicated AirSpeed depends on air pressure if that changes quickly the
indicated AirSpeed could be inaccurate.
