JOE:Fine, thanks. Tom, we´d like you to meet a friend of ours from Spain.
LILY: Luz! Come here, please.
LUZ: Yes?
LILY: Luz, this is Tom Cooper. He´s a good frien of ours. Tom this is Luz Hernandez.
LUZ: How do you do?
TOM: I´m pleased to meet you. I loce Spain. I was there last spring. Where are you from?
LUZ: Barcelona. Do you Know it?
TOM: No, I´m afraid I don´t. I only know Madrid and Toledo.
LUZ: Hmmmm
LILY: It´s a lovely party. isn´t it?
LUZ: Yes, it is, but it´s very warm in here.
JOE: Would you like something to drink?
LUZ: Oh, yes please. I´d love some orange juice. (Joe leaves) What do you do, Tom?
TOM: I´m a salesman. I sell children´s clothes. I live here in New York. but I travel a lot. How about you?
LUZ: I´m a teacher
LILY: Luz comes to New York every summer.
LUZ: Yes, I like New York very much.

JOE: And here´s your orange juice. Cheers!
LUZ: Cheers!
TOM: Are you traveling alone?
LUZ: No, I´m with my husband. He´s over there. Raul! I´d like you to meet Tom...

TOM: Nice to meet you too.
