Tim Wilkins loved his tree house. His father built it when he was 8. Tim Wilkins didn’t have any siblings. He usually played alone when his family lived in London. He went to the park every afternoon after school when the weather was fine. When it rained, his mum took him to the library and Tim read. He chose a book and he prefered reading adventure books about pirates, explorers or spacemen. He was very imaginative. When Tim was 8 years old, his father worked as a carpenter and he lost his job. He decided to start a new life in a little village called Stonebridge. So Tim's parents sold their house in London and they bought a house a beautiful house in Stonebridge. This wasn’t new and the windows and doors had a hole. They could be broken. The roof the house and repaired and painted the walls. Then they looked Fantastic! Finished, the house cam Tim's father as had an idea. Their garden is 20 metres big, and there are a lot of old trees. There are trees especially tall and thick. Tim's father designed a tree house and spent the whole spring building the tree house. When the summer began, Tim had his new house finished. He invited some boys to play there and all the things he read in the books came true. The tree house didn’t survived many years. Unluckily, a terrible storm destroyed it some years ago.
