The traditional dances from my country Venezuela that I know are : El sebucán, el joropo, la gaita, la burriquita , calipso de El Callao,el baile del mono y el baile de San Benito.
The traditional dance that I chose is : El Joropo
The joropo is practiced in pairs and movements are made with the feet hitting the ground quickly and keeping the hands holding the blade, the couple can sometimes go around each other.
The instruments used to interpret the music of the joropo are the harp, the cuatro and the maracas.
