The value of gravity in centimeters and square seconds is g = 980cm/s².

What is gravity?

Gravity is the force of attraction that a body has on others, the acceleration is the rate of change with which these bodies are attracted, on earth the value of this is g = 9.8m/s².

If the value of gravity is 9.8 m/s², and we want to express it in centimeters and seconds, we must know the following metric equivalence:

  • 1m = 100cm

We solve

9.8 m/s² ( 100cm/1m)

980 cm/s² would be the value of gravity.
