On each side of the structure there is a person who manages traffic like a traffic light, controlling that no more than eight people cross at the same time. Anyway, there is no need to worry as it supports 10 tons.
When crossing we are tempted to take photos and record a video, but we prefer to enjoy the scenery and leave the technology for the return. And it is that the barely twenty meters that join the cliffs with the islet of Carrick are short.
On the other side we move up the stairs, leaving the small fisherman's hut on the right side and obtaining perfect views of the island of Rathlin, on the way to the coast of Scotland. Seagulls sought refuge between pecking wars to get the best shelter to protect themselves from the wind.
After crossing again, instead of going back the same way, we follow a path that leads to a viewpoint with unbeatable views of the Suspension Bridge and the people who are crossing it to the delight of our camera.​
