Respuesta:

DIFERENCIAS: a few with something countable.

We have a few minutes before the train leaves. = a few minutes

There are a few pieces of bread left. Should I make some sandwiches?

     = unos pocos trozos

Had a few glasses of wine with dinner. = unas pocas copas de vino

It is used a bit of  like a little - you can think of it as the opposite of a lot of - another expression for quantity.

So you can say ...

I've got a bit of coffee left. Want some?

We have a bit of time before the train leaves.

I'm having a bit of trouble with the exercise. Could you help me?

The only difference really is that "the thing" is introduced with the preposition of ...

A little rice. A bit of rice. A lot of rice.

A little chocolate. A bit of chocolate. A lot of chocolate.

If “the thing” is understood, we say little / a bit without preposition

SEMEJANSAS:

To understand how to use FEW and LITTLE, you first have to know what countable and uncountable nouns are.

If a noun can be added with “s” or “es” at the end, then it is ACCOUNTING.

Examples: pennies, books, songs, cars.

If you cannot add “s” or “es” to a noun, then it is INCONTABLE.

Examples: milk, money, rice. For these words it is necessary to say: milk bottles, money bags or rice cups
