If + past simple + would + Infinitive

Rule:
- to talk about an unlikely situation or imaginary situation and it results
- in an expression to give advise
- Sometimes you can excluse the if clause

Ejemplos:
 
1. If I were taller, I'd be much more confident (si fuera mas alto, seria mucho mas seguro)

2. If climate change happens, the U.S.A. would be under 10m of water (si el clima cambia, USA estaria bajo 10m de agua)

3. If I were you, I'd go to the party. (si fuera tu, iria a la fiesta)

4. Headache (dolor de cabeza): If I were you, I'd sleep a little (si yo fuera tu, dormiria un poco)

5. Won $1.000.000.000 (Ganar $1.000.000.000) : If I were you, I'd buy a car and a house (si fuera tu, compraria un carro y una casa)
