Para usar el second conditional es muy sencillo utilizando la estructura gramatical correctamente.
Opción 1: If + Condición (oración con verbo conjugado en past simple) + would + Resultado (oración con verbo en infinitivo). Opción 2: Resultado (oración con verbo en infinitivo) + would + if + Condición (oración con verbo conjugado en past simple)
Ó también puedes recordar que al momento de tener un "If" nuestro verbo siguiente será en pasado y por ende la otra parte de la oración tendrá que, obligatoriamente, tener el "would" para que este sea un condicional. Al momento de usar el would, que se usa en donde no está el if, el siguiente verbo tiene que estar en infinitivo.
