Un cuento de Navidad es sobre un viejo y amargado avaro Ebenezer Scrooge. Scrooge ha dedicado su vida a los ricos devenir, pero sufre un cambio profundo en el transcurso de una noche de Nochebuena. Él es visitado por tres espíritus durante tres noches, y cada uno de ellos tiene una lección para pasar a él. Después de conocer a los tres fantasmas, Scrooge cambia su vida y vuelve al alma generosa, de buen corazón que era en su juventud.

Resumen de: "A Christmas Carol".

This is the story of Scrooge, a greedy old man who hates Christmas. One of his last relatives had just died on Christmas dates; This man, without feeling, request the inheritance of said subject.

Then he was lost to his new mansion inherited by the deceased, complaining about Christmas, locked in his house as if it were any other day, sent in front of the fireplace to warm himself with the fire.

Because it was Christmas, a chained man was found, scaring the old man, the potential fled throughout the mansion; and in one of the rooms he meets a red-haired man with hair and populated beard, with an olive crown and a green vest that hid his nakedness.

This new ghost, took him flying over the city, showing all the faces of Christmas. He shows him how poor children and rich children were happy, how happy people he hated and how they presently present him. When he arrived at his house, he found himself in one of the rooms, three children assembling the Christmas tree, Mr. Scrooge when he arrived at his house, needed them and gave away a couple of coins, because he trusted that Santa Claus does not exist.

Almost ringing the bells of his house, he went to his room to sleep, but the chained ghost was still there. Mr. Scrooge released the ghost from his chains, which he thanked. Already at six o'clock, when the bells rang, he woke up on his chair and went out to wish his neighbors and all the children of the town a merry Christmas, recording his dream.
