My name’s Adam and we have five pets in our family. We have a black Labrador. Its official name is Wood house paw, but it’s a long name. Its nickname is Mr. Big. Why? Because it’s a very big dog! My sister Rachel has two mice. Their names are Midnight and Snowy because one’s black and one’s white. Her mice are cool. They have small pink noses and ears and long tails. They’re in Rachel’s room. They aren’t in the living room because we have a cat, and traditionally cats and mice aren’t friends. The cat is my mom’s pet and its name is Tripod. How many legs does he have? Three! It’s very funny! Tripod is black and white too, and he’s very nice. My brother Jack has the fifth pet. It’s black and brown and very long. It doesn’t have legs. What is it? It’s a python called Kaa. Reptiles are popular pets today, but personally I’m not a fan of them. Kaa’s horrible!
