My best friend is called Mary. She is nine
years old, the same age as I am. We go
to the same school, too.
She sometimes comes to my house after
school. I sometimes go to hers. Then we
have tea together. We do our homework
together. We are allowed to play outside
or to watch television for a short time.
We like to play with our dolls together.
Mary has a doll called Lucy. Lucy has
blonde hair and blue eyes. She is very
pretty. Mary sometimes lets me borrow
her.
Mary has an older brother, Mike, and an
older sister, Doris. She is a lot
younger
than they are. Mary's birthday was last
month. She had a party at the swimming
pool. She invited all her friends.
Mary is a kind person. I am happy to have
her as a friend.
