The men stopped at a house in the middle of the village. They show to the old men. The old men knew everythine he wanted could tell the villagers about this strange new man.
The blind men pushed Nunez inside. It was very dark because there were no windows. Nunez couldn't see anything and he fell over somebody's feet. His arm hit somebody.
'Hold him down! Be careful! He wants to fight us,' said one of the men.
'I don't want to fight anybody,' said Nunez. 'I fell. I couldn't see, because it's very dark in here.'
But they didn't understand him.
'He uses words without meaning, they said. 'It's because he's a new man. Perhaps he's also dangerous. We'll have to be careful.'
