Comparative
we use comparatives to compare two things or peolpe (she is more intelligent than his brother )
we add 'r' to the shortest words(nice-nicer/ happy-happier) and with the longest words we add more than

Superlative
We use to show the difference between more than two things or more than two people(Paris is the biggest city in France)
We add 'st or est' to the shortest words (happy-happiest/big-biggest)
