Para expresar que queremos o gustamos más de alguien o algo usamos would rather o su contracción ‘d rather. Se traduce como el verbo preferir.

1.- I would rather go to Greece for my holidays = prefiero ir a Grecia de vacaciones.
2.-I would rather not tell you what I really think = preferiría no decirte lo que realmente pienso.
3.-I would rather swim than run =prefiero nadar a correr
