6.  By whom was being the passports checked?

acolom: Hello, n° 2 and 6 are not correct. n° 2 : Why did you put two "is" ? // n°6: passports is plural ... // and you used simple past ... ; )

         AM / IS / ARE + BEING + PAST PARTICIPLE

 1. The cat is tearing the new book.

- The new book is being torn by the cat.

2. Is the agent chasing the criminal?

- Is he criminal  being chased by the agent?

3. We are collecting the donations at the moment.

- The donations are being collected by us at the moment.

4. They are washing my car now.

- My car is being washed by them.

5. Mr. Barber is handing out the exam papers.

- The exams papers are being handed by Mr. Barber

6. Who is checking the passports?

- The passports are being checked by whom?

7. GPS is calculating the route to your destination

- The route to your destination is being checked by GPS.
