AN AFTERNOON IN MY HOUSE (By Rangel Ortiz)
Hello! I am Pablo and I am 14 years old. I live in Cartago, Colombia, with my family.
I study in Académico High School, and I’m in 9 th grade.
I want to tell you what it is happening in a normal afternoon in my house. My father is a teacher of
Spanish in Elementary school. In this moment he is grading some exams of his students, he is
also drinking a big cup of hot coffee. He loves coffee in the afternoon. My mother is a hair stylist,
and she has her saloon at home. She is waiting for a lady to cut her hair, while she is cleaning
the cut’s chair and she is listening to the radio. She always listens to the news in the afternoon.
My older sister Sofía is reading a book about psychology. She is in the University, and she is
studying for a Quiz. I am watching a t.v. series, and at the same time, I’m writing this story, and
I’m chatting with my school’s friends by Whatsapp. Finally, Ramona, my dog, is sleeping on my
feet.
This is a normal afternoon in my house. How are your normal afternoons at home?

it´s happening a normal situation at home, my father is studing for his exams and drinking coffee my mother is listening radio and she´s helping my sister to read a psycologist book, my sister is studing for her quiz at the university, i´m watching tv and writing something in my chat , ramona my pet si slepping, this is my normal situation

i´m_______ my afternoos at home are nice , my mother is cooking some rice and vegetables, my sister is teaching her baby to read, her oldest son pedro is writing his task on his notebook, sometimes my little brother is singing a shakira song , then we are watching tv before we have dinner
