Pequeño recordatorio: WAS se usa con HE, SHE, IT, y WERE se usa con THEY, WE, YOU. Lo único que se cambia en negativo es el WAS y WERE, quedando en WASN'T y WEREN'T.
Ej.: I WAS(n't) drinking water. He WAS(n't) drinking water. The cat WAS(n't) drinking water.
They WERE(n't) drinking water. We WERE(n't) drinking water. You WERE(n't) drinking water.
Y por si acaso: I WAS(n't) drinking water.
