Presente simple

Betty plays chess with her friends every saturday.

I need to learn english to get a better work.

The bank employee goes to lunch at the restaurant on the corner.

My parents travel to London every year.

The nurse has twelve hour shifts some nights a week.

The baby cries when his mother goes to work.

Pasado simple

Betty played chess with her friends every saturday.

I needed to learn english to get a better work.

The bank employee went to lunch at the restaurant on the corner.

My parents traveedl to London every year.

The nurse had twelve hour shifts some nights a week.

The baby cried when his mother went to work.

En algunos verbos regulares, se agrega "ed" para formas el pretérito (pasado). Ejemplo: I need-Ineeded.

En otros que son irregulares, se cambia totalmente el verbo:

Go-Went.

En tercera persona singular, algunos verbo en presente se transformar agregándoles una "s", como por ejemplo los dos siguientes:

El verbo infinitivo es el que termina en ar, er o ir. Pero en inglés, estos se forman con la palabra "to" + el verbo:

Sin el "to" ni ningún pronombre, el verbo es imperativo (es una orden)

Ejemplo:

Come toda tu comida

Eat all your food
