Respuesta:

1. I wasn't asking to much while the policeman was questioning me.

2. The children were playing football while they were staying on the playground.

3. Dad wasn't taking the medicine when he was going to the hospital.

4. The woman was explaining about the pictures while she was giving the tour at the museum.

5. While you were driving to the police station the police was interrogating the suspect.

Explicación:

Para el pasado continuo tienes que usar el verbo to be en pasado y el verbo con ING, con la siguiente estructura:

  • Subject + verb to be in past + verb + ING + complement
  • Sujeto + verbo to be en pasado + verbo + ING + complemento

El verbo to be en pasado es was y were, en negativo puedes escribirlo como was not / wasn't  y were not / weren't.
