The day of friendship and love, is a common celebration in countries like Colombia and Peru, during the months of September and July, respectivelly. In this day, people remember and cherish the people that surronds them, whether it is about the ones they love or their friendship. To celebrate this day, people often exchange gifts and play games. This event was created back in Rome, when people celebrated a pagan celebration. In the year 496, pope Gelasio I changed this celebration to the one we know today.
