was es el pasado simple de el verbo to be que es ser o estar asi que wasen't es no estar osea en negativo ( was solo funciona con i, she,he, and it)
i was in the park - yo estaba en el parque
she wasen't in the cinema - ella no estaba en el cine
were es el pasado que solo se utiliza para you they and we (es para plural). waren't es en negativo.
they were in the car - ellos están en el carro
we weren't in my house - nosotros no estamos en mi casa
el significado es básicamente lo mismo solo cambia la estructura gramatical.
Was, wasn't, were y weren't son formas pasadas del verbo to be.
El verbo to be se traduce como "ser o estar" existen tres verbos to be "am, is y are" y el pasado es "was y were" se usan de la siguiente manera:
