Our parents get older and when they think about their past they sometimes ponder the things that we 1.______ have done. And they also may regret those things they did badly and the mistakes they made. In reality, they 2.______ always learn from their mistakes and hope to never make them again. For example, if I failed a test because of a lack of study, the next test I 3. ____hope to pass because of hard work. Remember too that some regrets are not based in reality and we 4.____ waste time thinking that they are. Would I have really not have been involved in a car crash if I had been driving more slowly? After all, the other driver 5._______have been concentrating and not playing with their radio. We have to be honest with ourselves and live in the now. The only things we 6.____ control are the things happening now, in this moment

Our parents get older and when they think about their past they sometimes ponder the things that we MAY have done. And they also may regret those things they did badly and the mistakes they made. In reality, they CAN always learn from their mistakes and hope to never make them again. For example, if I failed a test because of a lack of study, the next test I COULD hope to pass because of hard work. Remember too that some regrets are not based in reality and we MIGHT waste time thinking that they are. Would I have really not have been involved in a car crash if I had been driving more slowly? After all, the other driver MAY have been concentrating and not playing with their radio. We have to be honest with ourselves and live in the now. The only things we CAN control are the things happening now, in this moment
