• AFIRMATIVA: Yesterday I bought a cake in the new bakery (ayer compré un pastel en la nueva panaderia)
• NEGATIVA: they didn't play soccer with us  (ellos no jugaron futbol con nosotros )
• INTERROGATIVA: did my mom go to the doctor yesterday?  (mi mamá fue ayer al doctor? )

PAST CONTINOUS:

• AFIRMATIVA: she was swimming in the pool  (ella estaba nadando en la piscina)
• NEGATIVA: they weren't dancing at the party (ellos no estaban bailando en la fiesta)
• INTERROGATIVA: was she watching the movie with her friend? (estaba ella viendo la pelicula con su amiga?)
