One day, a very hungry lion was out in the jungle looking for
something to kill for his dinner,,A hare came running through the bushes
and the lion easily caught her. He was just about to kill her when he saw a
stog running swiftly by. That stag is much bigger than this hare," he said “It
will make a much better dinner." So he left the little hare and bounded off
after the stag. The stag, however, was already a long way away and was
running very swiftly so the lion couldn't catch him. Finally he decided to
give up. "I'll go back and eat the hare after all," he thought. But when he
got back to the place where he had left the hare he found that she had
gone. “I wanted too much and now I have nothing," he said hungrily.
Moral: be content with what you have.
