Sujon: Yes, The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is in the Villanueva neighborhood, (downtown Medellin). It was started in 1890 and opened in 1931.

Sharmin: Could you please let me know the uniqueness of the Cathedral

Sujon: The Metropolitan Cathedral consists of three naves and two twin towers of three bodies and 66 meters high. The main façade faces the north side of Parque de Bolívar and contains the most Romanesque features of the building.

Inside, the canopy and the main altar stand out, with a dome supported by four blue marble columns and Corinthian capitals.
