Independence Day El Salvador is celebrated every year on September 15 no matter what day of the week it is, on that day the National Anthem is sung in all schools and institutes of secondary education. This day Salvadoran students also perform a civic act in allusion to Independence and then prepare for a parade that runs through different places, depending on the department and area where they are.
