Inglés, pregunta formulada por Yens03, hace 1 año

Necesito que me ayuden a resolver las dos prácticas y saber según la oración cuándo se puede utilizar (el was o el were)

Adjuntos:

ayelensecret6: Si en el presente simple, el verbo to be tiene tres formas (am, is, are), en el pasado simple, tiene dos: was y were. Was corresponde a la primera persona del singular (I) y a la tercera persona del singular (he, she, it); were se emplea para las demás personas (you, we, they). I was at work.

Respuesta:

My mother was ill

They were angry

You were bored

He was very tall

The weather was cold

The children were excited

We were late

My parents were proud

My friends were happy

The pizza was delicious

The dog was hungry

The coffee was too hot

You were tired

It was very rainy

The cat was scared

Explicación:

El Was ( era- estaba) se usa con los pronombres de 3era Persona He- She-It- y con 1era del singular I es decir cuando me refiero a una persona, lugar o animal.

Were (eran-estaban) se usa con 2da persona del singular y 2da del Plural You- We y They.

Es cuando me refiero a ud o tu y ellos-ellas-Nosotros-nosotras, a dos o mas personas, animales y cosas
