MODAL VERBS

Son un tipo de verbos auxiliares que sirven para expresar la probabilidad, posibilidad, capacidad o necesidad de que algo ocurra o se haga.

Formula

- Subject + Modal + Verb in simple form + Predicate  

Can - Could.  

- I can dance (puedo bailar)

- I can’t go to the town tomorrow (No puedo ir al centro mañana)

- When I was young, I could pick up 100 libs with one hand. (Cuando era joven, podía levantar 100 libras con una mano).

- I could go to France, but my bus arrived late. (Pude ir a Francia, pero mi autobús llegó tarde).

- We all can change the world (Todos podemos cambiar el mundo).

- Can you speak Chinese? (¿hablas Chino?)

- Could you use it properly? I’m sure you can. (¿Puedes usarlo apropiadamente? Estoy seguro que puedes.)

I think I could do it if you want (creo que podríahacerlosiquieres).
