MUST se refiere a una obligación que sientes y HAVE TO se refiere a una obligación externa. es decir have to es algo que si no lo haces hay consecuencias.

EJEMPLO

MUST: 1. debo pagar esta cuenta hoy./ I must pay this Bill today

2. debes estar cansado/ You must be tired

3. debes apresurarte/ You must hurry up

4. debe ser fuerte/ You must stay strong

5. primero debes hacer una reserva/ You must make a reservation first.

HAVE TO:

1. tienen que reparar el tejado/ they have to repair the roof

2. debes leer este libro/ You have to read this book.

3. tenemos que tomar el próximo vuelo/we have to take the next flight

4. tienes que calmarte/You have to calm down

5. no tienes que ayudarlo/ You don't have to help him.
