Existen verbos regulares e irregulares. En el pasado simple, los verbos regulares llevan la terminación -ed. Por ejemplo, played (play).
En cambio, los verbos irregulares no siguen un patrón determinado, como went (go).
Estructura del pasado simple:
Affirmative:
Sujeto + verbo en pasado simple + complemento.
Negative:
Sujeto + did not + infinitivo + complemento.
Interrogative:
Did + sujeto + infinitivo + complemento...?
