Last weekend, we visited an old mansion. My dad drove and the trip took an hour and a half. We didn't get there until ten thirty.

We spent the morning in the gardens. My brother saw a beautiful yellow bird, but I didn't see it. There was a café but we didn't have lunch there. We had a picnic in the gardens.

In the afternoon, we went into the mansion. There were a lot of rooms to see. i didn't like the bathrooms but I thought the kitchens were interesting.

At the end of the day, i bought a small key ring from the souvenir shop. We had a wonderful day!
